A degree progress report, or DPR, is a report listing the requirements for a degree and the courses taken by a student. The DPR is only an advising tool, and it is not an irrevocable contract between the student and the university. The student is responsible for fulfilling all requirements as listed in the Undergraduate Announcements. Decisions concerning schedule planning should be made in consultation with your academic advisor. back to top
What is a What-If DPR?
.......................
You have two DPR slots. The Master DPR is a DPR run on curriculum that is the closest to what you have declared. The What-If DPR is a DPR that can be run by you or your advisor on any available curriculum. This is useful if you are considering a change of major or minor. More information on changing major or minors can be found on the Registrar's website. What-if DPRs are cleared from the system monthly, but feel free to rerun What-if DPRs anytime and as often as you like. back to top
How do I see/print my DPR?
.......................
From Clemson's main page, click SISweb. Log in to the SIS system. DPRs can be viewed by choosing "My Degree Progress Report" or "View My What-If Report". Since What-if DPRs are cleared from the system monthly, you may not see the last What-if report you ran, but feel free to rerun What-if DPRs anytime and as often as you like. To generate a new What-If report, choose "Request a What-if Degree Progress Report" and follow the menus to pick a curriculum. You can use your browser's print feature to print the DPR. back to top
When are DPRs updated?
.......................
DPRs are snapshots of your coursework on the date the report was generated. The report date is listed at the top of each page. Master DPRs are generated for all enrolled students after the last day to add a class, after withdrawal hours are calculated, before registration, and after final grades have posted. If you would like to see a more current report, you can submit a What-If DPR request online using your current curriculum. back to top
What degree curriculum is used for my DPR?
.......................
The Master DPR is based on available curriculum that most closely matches your declared curriculum as recorded in the campus mainframe system. Both the curriculum recorded in the mainframe system and the curriculum used for generating the DPR are listed near the top of the report. A list of major codes and minor codes can be found on the Registrar's website. Due to programming limitations, DPRs can not check for some degree and program requirements. In these cases, a message printed on the DPR will inform you of the limitations and the need for manual verification of the requirements. back to top
Where do I go with questions about my DPR?
.......................
All questions concerning degree fulfillment or DPRs should be addressed to your major advisor or an academic counselor in the Enrolled Student Services office. Your advisor will report any problems with the DPR to the Degree Progress office. back to top
