Students can register on or off campus using
TigerWeb. Your access window to the registration system is based upon your
classification and CUID number. See registration Phase-In Times.
All undergraduate students should schedule a visit with their advisor to
discuss degree requirements. Registration materials--degree progress report,
advising card, and registration instructions--are delivered to your major
department one week prior to registration.
Upon successful login, you are required to verify your address information and make any necessary changes in order to proceed to Web Registration. Select PICK A SECTION, QUICK
ADD, DROP A CLASS, CHANGE HOURS, SHOW GRID, or ADD A REQUEST as appropriate. Please note that
request logs will not be available for new freshmen during summer orientation
sessions.
Pick a Section
Allows you to view all/open sections of a particular course and then register
for that course. If the course is open, select it and click "Add to Schedule."
Quick Add
Allows you to register for up to five courses at one time. Once you have
entered the required information, click "Add These Classes" to register.
Drop a Class
Allows you to drop any of the courses for which you are currently registered.
To drop a course, select the appropriate course and click "Drop from Schedule".
Change Hours
If you have registered for a variable-credit course and wish to increase or
decrease the hours for that course, enter the desired hours and click "Change
Class Hours".
Show Grid
Allows you to view a grid containing your current schedule and find any time
conflicts. If there are conflicts, you must rearrange your schedule to
eliminate them.
Add a Request
Allows you to request a course that is currently unavailable. Note that request
logs are used at the discretion of academic departments and in no way assure
you a seat in the course. Request logs will not be available for new freshmen
during summer orientation sessions. To add your name to the request log, enter
the required information: course abbreviation, number and reason. Section
number is not required but helpful if you desire a specific section. Click "Add
This Request". Please note: You may not log a request for a class if you are
enrolled in another section of that class. For lecture/lab courses, you must
request both the lecture and the lab. Please read more about
request logs.
Once you have finished updating your schedule, you must LOG OUT of TigerWeb.
An online TigerWeb demonstration is available from the login page of TigerWeb.
